This branch is responsible in administrating and managing development, human resource, finance, support services, and training to ensure that they were done effectively and with quality. There are various efforts done to consolidate and strengthen the work system implemented such as work planner, file management, monitoring financial expenditure, and training programmes, to improve the efficiency and knowledge of pharmacy's staff.

Pharmacy Management Branch is responsible to handle a few units, which are:

 

  1. Pharmacy Services and Administration Unit
  2. Pharmacy Development Unit
  3. Pharmacy Quality and Training Unit

Functions of Pharmacy Management sub-units:

 

  1. Pharmacy Services and Administration Unit
    •  To plan and manage finance and services for pharmacy staffs in Pharmacy Services Division Headquarters in order to support the implementation of pharmacy strategies and programs
    • To plan, physical development, and distribution of key resources including the financial means in ensuring pharmacy strategies, programs, and activities can be implemented effectively.
    • To ensure the effectiveness in administration and asset management, logistics including drugs, non-drugs, and equipment are managed in line with the pharmacy objectives.

  2. Pharmacy Development Unit
    • To plan the development projects such as upgrading or building new facilities for hospitals and health clinics under Pharmacy JKWPKL&P
    • To supervise projects and ensuring their implementation are according to the schedule and meet the specifications set

  3. Pharmacy Quality and Training Unit
    • To plan activities regarding quality for each Pharmacy Branch in JKWPKL&P
    • To supervise the implementation of activities based on Key Performance Index (KPI), ISO, 5S, and QAP
    • To supervise the performance and achievement of Pharmacy Services, to take action to improve and to make recommendation for preventive measures
    • To plan, manage, and review budget and expenses needed for pharmacy training programme
    • To plan and supervise the achievement and implementation of training for each pharmacy staffs.
